One word, not hyphenated, lower-case initial.

university

When referring to the University of ��߲ݴ�ý as the University use an initial capital. When referring to a university use a lower-case u.

��߲ݴ�ý

��߲ݴ�ý is our official name.

When referring to the University of ��߲ݴ�ý the casing of the 't' on the word ‘the’ should be lower or upper case depending on the context:

when used in the middle of a sentence it is lower case, ie 'the University of ��߲ݴ�ý'
when used at the start of a sentence or in isolation it is upper case like the title above this paragraph, ie ‘��߲ݴ�ý’

Use the word ‘The’ or ‘the’ in front of ‘University of ��߲ݴ�ý’ unless it doesn’t make sense grammatically.

This example uses ‘the’ with a lower case 't' as it is in the middle of the sentence:

Joining the University of ��߲ݴ�ý is only the beginning of something very exciting.

Using ‘The’ in this example would not make sense:

University of ��߲ݴ�ý researchers are part of a new centre to drive research and innovation to support the government’s plans for a Green Industrial Revolution.

The guidance relating to how to write the University’s name in text did not change as part of the Autumn 2022 brand update.

URLs

Don't publish long URLs with lots of suffixes, especially in print. If you structure your website carefully so that important information is easy to find, you shouldn't need longwinded URLs.

Don't use the term URL in copy. Say 'web address' instead.
