Professor Michele Lancione, Full Professor of Economic and Policy Geography and Visiting Professor at the Urban Institute, and his research team at the Inter-university in Turin have launched the Beyond Inhabitation Lab Seminar Series, a set of high profile interventions that will take place both online and in-person, in Turin.
The seminar involves hosting three distinguished scholars to explore how ideas of inhabitation are being reimagined through urban struggles in diverse geographies.

The is an initiative supported by Professor Lancione鈥檚 ERC Starting Grant on and is co-directed by the UI鈥檚 Professor AbdouMaliq Simone. The Lab aims to investigate how inhabitation is re-worked from the ground across urban geographies in everyday life endurances that can morph, often silently, into struggles against contemporary and historical forms of dispossession.
