Profile

I studied at the University of Bath for my BSc (Hons) Psychology degree, and I completed my MSc in Applied Neuropsychology at the University of Bristol. During my undergraduate degree, I spent my placement year as Lab Manager at the Brain and Early Experiences Lab, Boston University. Here, I worked on projects investigating how early life stress impacts infant development.

I am interested in the interplay between Developmental Psychology and Neuroscience, which led me to my previous role as a Research Assistant on the Baby Rhythm project at the Centre for Neuroscience in Education, University of Cambridge. This longitudinal project investigated neural entrainment to rhythm in relation to language acquisition.

I am currently working on the Orchestrating Numeracy and the Executive (ONE) project here at the University of º¬Ð߲ݴ«Ã½. This is a collaborative study which aims to test the efficacy of an Early Years intervention targeting the development of executive function abilities and maths concepts in pre-school children. I am looking forward to deepening my knowledge surrounding the development of executive functions in the Early Years during my time here at the University of º¬Ð߲ݴ«Ã½.
