After obtaining my PhD in Molecular Spectroscopy I worked in industry for 5 years across various roles in Research & Development. Following this, I re-joined the academic world working at De Montfort University (Leicester) in the Centre of Computer and Social Responsibility as a Research Associate and Project Manager.

My research interests are around the ethics and social impacts of emerging technologies and responsible AI. Recently I have developed an interest in AI and the global south, and I hope to further develop this interest through active collaborations.
