Important update
The Remote Desktop Service has been discontinued.
The offers a variety of applications for personal devices and University computers.
If you need to use specialist software off-campus, you must have a clear business or teaching need. For example, this might include
- Staff applications that do not work well off campus
- Student-facing applications that need long-running sessions, which are not possible in on-campus computer rooms.
To request off-campus access to specialist software for the new Virtual Desktop Service, staff can submit a . Supervisors will need to submit the form on behalf of students.
